Thank you all in advance for your thought and ideas. Please refer to PdaNet instead for alternative solutions. If they develop a work around, I will gladly use FoxFi 100% but for now I am seeking another product. (Legacy)WiFi Hotspot Android 7.0 (Nougat) or later no longer allows the old WiFi. I know that i can uninstall the certificate and disable the lock screen when not using FoxFi but this is a real pain going back and forth 4-6 times a day, especially when I leave someplace and am driving wishing to use TC. I am guessing this added step was needed to help them reduce people pirating their app or they didn't think of the ramifications to this devices Touchless Control feature. I have been a very happy paying customer of theirs for almost two years.
This is an unfortunate change FoxFi made. I am coming from a Galaxy Nexus and did not have this added step nor was there TC that it interfered with.
It hinders the Touchless Control feature that is a mainstay of the Moto X. I hate the required lock screen it now needs with its security certificate. I am searching for an alternative to FoxFi.
